Who we are
The organisation that will publish Smriti is being registered. Until then, Smriti is run by its founding team.
Using Smriti
- Smriti is free to use. Its content is for viewing and listening on this website only.
- You may not download, copy, scrape, save, republish or redistribute anything from Smriti: bulletins, transcripts, articles, AI-written text, photos or data.
- No automated access: no bots, crawlers, scrapers or scripts, except general search engines that follow our robots rules.
- You may not use Smriti's content to train, fine-tune or feed AI systems.
- Bulletins, articles, video and photos belong to their owners. All India Radio and Doordarshan content belongs to Prasar Bharati, whose terms allow personal and educational use only. To quote or reuse anything, go to the original source, which every item links to, and follow its terms.
- Don't pass off AI-written text as a source's own words.
Content protection
Everything on Smriti is for viewing and listening on this website only. Nothing can be downloaded, and you may not copy, scrape, save, republish or redistribute bulletins, transcripts, articles, AI-written text or photos, or use them to train AI.
Automated access is not allowed. Only general search engines may index Smriti's pages, and without snippets, cached copies or image indexing; AI crawlers and scrapers are blocked.
To quote or reuse something, go to its original source: every item links to it.
AI-written text AI
Summaries, write-ups, answers, translations and transcripts made by AI are marked. They can contain mistakes: check the cited original before you rely on them. Nothing on Smriti is legal, medical or financial advice. How we use AI.
Accounts
Listening, reading and asking need no account. Accounts are for members and staff; keep your password to yourself. What we keep is described in the privacy notice.
Errors, complaints and takedown
Report errors, copyright, privacy or any other grievance on the grievance page. We acknowledge within 24 hours and decide within 15 days, and publish every correction in the corrections log.
No warranty
Smriti is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available but cannot promise that every item, transcript or answer is complete or correct, or that the service is always up.
